The country of Taiwan is a beautiful and small area that can be crossed in under six hours. The people of Taiwan is friendly and warm, and welcomes visitors from other countries. A lot of foreigners in Taiwan often remarks on how easy it is to fit in.
Culture
Taiwan has a rich and diverse cultural mix. Travelling through or living in Taiwan you can expect to experience the aboriginal native Taiwanese and Chinesee cultures as well as some landmarks and relics left by the Dutch, Japanese.
Housing and safety
Housing in Taiwan is relatively inexpensive. Apartments are readily available and the many security apartments house the greater percentage of the ex-pat community. Pricing will vary according to the amenities such as swimming pools and air conditioners offered. As the rest of the Asian countries, Taiwan is considered to be a safe and secure area. Although instances of crime is relatively low, as a stranger to the country you should act responsibly

Taiwan has a unique blend of Taoist, Buddhist and Confucian traditions, which creates an atmosphere of tolerance for other religions and denominations. You will therefore be able to continue your worship unhindered.
